Once I started walking, I learned that the part of Big Break Trail I’d already followed from the park entrance on Big Break Road over to Piper Lane in our development is only a tiny part of the whole trail. I have yet to walk the entire trail, but have now made it down as far as the beginning of the Ironhouse Sanitary District property.
These photos follow the path from the corner of Main Street and Big Break Road, past the housing development, into the park, and along the trail past Piper Lane and Merlot Lane to Jordan Lane. It’s a paved trail, though in a few spots the pavement isn’t in good shape, and it’s flat, so it’s very easy to walk on.
