So I had the brilliant idea to set up a personal website, inspired by the friends who’ve been sending me links to photo albums with their kids in them. And, of course, I want to use WordPress.
But WordPress 2.7, which seems pretty cool in most respects, seems to have an issue when it comes to using a static page as the home page, instead of the blog page. I’ve found a partial fix in the WP forums, but am still not totally satisfied. And trying to figure it out has drastically slowed down my momentum. Grrr.
