A Walk Through Antioch’s Rivertown

Antioch, CA Marina

Yesterday Stefan and I went for a walk through Rivertown, the downtown district in the neighboring town of Antioch. (Actually, by local standards, Antioch is a big city, with a population of about 100,000.) Antioch has a more distinct downtown than Oakley does, and a waterfront as well, but still suffers, like much of the Delta, from numerous empty storefronts.

  1. Thanks for sharing Sallie. Love the classic car shot and the shop window close-ups
Really flat there. Little blue house reminds Bill of New Orleans.

    1. Yes, it’s remarkably flat here in the Delta, as compared with the hilly coast. Though we’re close to Mt. Diablo, it’s the only peak for miles around.
